Amish Colors
I am still at work processing images from Horse Progress Days 2010, held in Topeka, In, on July 2nd and 3rd. Because of the crowds most of the images are you-are-there-type shots, not fine art by any means. But they do capture who was there and what is was like, and that can be fun when the event is one you typically don’t see. And, face it, how many of you pass teams of draft horses and mules on you way to work each day?
And don’t think that the Amish don’t appreciate colors and beauty. Some of their mannerisms may be plain, but their colors don’t have to be. The above is just one example of that. Check back soon as I hope to post an album of images at least over the weekend.

You have got some fine photos of this event. Thank-you for sharing them.
Hi Dale,
Thank you for the kind comment. I enjoyed meeting all the good folks who put on Horse Progress Days and made it happen for the rest of us as much or more than taking photos. These events and local Plow Days remind me what our country should be all about.
