Bloomington Photography Club SoFA Exhibit: The Verdict Is In

One of my wife’s images from the show.
Just an update to yesterday’s post on our photo club’s annual exhibit over on the IU campus. The opening reception last night was very well attended, with a mixture of club members, friends and family members, townsfolk, IU campus community and even some out-of-town visitors. The Grunwald Gallery is a beautiful exhibition hall consisting of two rooms, perfect lighting and lots of space in which to view and converse. It was filled with guests most of the night. And all those images by club members held their own in this gorgeous space; this was a fine, fine show.
Thanks to all who attended (and to club members who contributed to a delicious opening reception array of food dishes). The exhibit runs through next Friday morning (a link to the gallery and its hours is here). If you missed the opening last night, PLEASE make time to visit sometime this week. You won’t be disappointed.
And on a personal note … I overheard several viewers commenting most favorably on my wife’s entries to the show. Two of them went so far as to label her “Checkers” photo as the best-of-show. I am most proud of her.
