Download A Free Movie Poster Template. And Free Photoshop Overlays.

My quick version of the movie poster you can download for free.
You can build all the posters and brochures and fliers and collages you like from scratch if that is your style. But I like not needing to reinvent the wheel on those odd times when I want a certain look or style (especially when it is one I rarely use). On those occasions I am most grateful for the various templates (free, of course) that I have collected over the years from online sites. Today is an offer from a site called Photography Talk by way of regular contributor Neil van Niekerk. The template is yours by signing up for a newsletter (that you can immediately cancel; hint, hint), and my quick version of it is at the top of this post. The actual template is a .psd file with all kinds of layers that will allow you to customize the poster to your heart’s content. It is kind of cool to have in your collection, and thanks go out to Photography Talk and to Neil’s Tangents website. Click here to visit Neil’s site and get your own download.
And another (FREE) download … this time of mask overlays that will work with Photoshop and other processors that allow the use of layers and opacity changes. It is from a site I have spotlighted in the past as one to bookmark and check regularly … Shadowhouse Creations. These are some very nicely-done additions to your processing workflow. Click here to view an example (featuring Scarlett Johansson, no less) of what these overlays can do - and that is plenty. I have downloaded these overlays and am most happy to add them to my collection. Thank you, Shadowhouse Creations!
And thank all of you for checking in today!
Added on 2-13-2013: Apparently the link to the van Niekerk site is broken or no longer online. No problem; just use this link to go to the original website, Proportfolio Club. I got my template by subscribing, downloading, and then un-subscribing. You can see that the poster looks pretty cool. Give it a try.
