Free Lightroom 4 Presets For Night-Time Shots

FREE presets from Matt Kloskowski!
The incorruptible Matt Kloskowski has generously provided us with yet another set of FREE Lightroom 4 presets. This set (in comes in three flavors: light, medium and hey-who-turned-out-the-lights?) is designed to enhance your night-time shots, specifically your night-time city shots. I say specifically because Matt cautions that starting out with any other type image may not lead to the results you expect (and hope for). Matt knows Lightroom and Matt knows photography. These presets are worth adding to your collection (click here for the download).
And, the bad news … Today is August 21st, and I have not been contacted by Epson to let me know that I won the R3000 photo printer (featured in an earlier post about their giveaway). Sniff, sniff. Lets all of us who entered and didn’t win join together to congratulate whoever did. We are so happy for you ……………..
Also, just a bit of a surprise for me today … I really like dp review as a site to read camera reviews and keep up on news. They really test new cameras and I have always felt they do a superb job of going that extra step in doing so. But yesterday dp review published their take on Canon’s new Rebel T4i (also known as the EOS 650D). It was their usual, thorough review except for one glaring omission – no mention at all of Canon’s recall of this model because some of the cameras were manufactured with potentially toxic grips. That’s right, potentially toxic as in unsafe. My faith in dp review took a hit yesterday. Let’s hope that was not intentional for some unknown reason.
