How Well Do You See Color?
You have good equipment, you look for interesting subjects, you practice your camera technique to take the very best photos you can … does that guarantee you the final print you want? Not if the colors are off. Part of that depends on profiling your monitor to get accurate color; part of depends on you and your eyesight. Just how well do you see color?
Today I am taking you to an online Color IQ Test from Xrite (the makers of some very good color profiling equipment). Follow the link, take a quick test, and find out how well you see color … or not. For what it’s worth, I scored a zero. Wait, is that good or bad?
AND TONIGHT, Adobe Photoshop celebrates its 20th anniversary. There is a huge party out in San Francisco that will be online [link] at 10:30pm (7:30pm PST). Why you should be interested? There are going to be live presentations of tips and tricks to make you better at Photoshop … which means you end up with better images. And, it’s free!
And finally, if you are a current user of Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw in Photoshop, there are two free upgrades to those invaluable programs. They have been in beta testing for a while and now are ready for downloading and installation.
